Nursing Center Ministry
One Saturday morning each month a team visits the Layhill Nursing Center on Bel Pre Road in Silver Spring. An informal worship service is conducted for the residents and communion is served. The gifts of compassion, a love of people, singing, reading scripture, sharing poetry or stories, praying, leading, playing the piano or other instruments, serving, greeting, and visiting, are among those needed for this ministry.
