Radical Hospitality
Adult Education Opportunity
Wednesday evenings September 14, 21, and 28!
(following our family night dinners)
Topic: Radical Hospitality
Christian hospitality is the active desire to invite, welcome, receive, and care for those who are strangers so that they can find a spiritual home and discover for themselves the unending richness of life in Christ.
Radical describes that which is drastically different from ordinary practice, out the normal, that which exceeds expectations and goes the second mile.
Presenting Radical Hospitality means we present the absolute utmost of ourselves, our creativity, and our abilities to offer the gracious invitation and welcome of Christ to others.
Come and participate in our Adult Education focus this fall, “Radical Hospitality” based on a book by Robert Schanse, author of “Five Practices of Fruitful Congregations.” Upcoming sessions include:
Sesson One - September 14: What Does the Bible Say?
Session Two - September 21: What is Radical Hospitality?
Session Three - September 28: What Can We Do?
Facilitator: Pastor Joel S. Hawthorne
